As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication is crucial. Sales reps need to articulate product benefits, negotiate, and build rapport with clients.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: The ability to identify potential clients, research leads, and create a pipeline of opportunities is vital.
  • Relationship Building: Sales reps should excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Trust and rapport lead to successful sales.
  • Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of the products or services being sold is essential. Sales reps should be able to explain features, benefits, and address customer queries.
  • Negotiation Skills: Successful sales often involve negotiation. Sales reps need to find win-win solutions that satisfy both the client and the company.
  • Time Management: Outside sales reps manage their own schedules. Effective time management ensures they meet targets and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation: Sales can be challenging, so self-motivation and resilience are critical. A proactive attitude drives success.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions, client needs, and industry trends is essential.
  • Host and Present AIA Courses and Lunch & Learn Sessions: Conduct engaging and informative presentations for architects and industry professionals.
  • Maintain and Update Presentation Materials: Ensure that all materials are current and relevant.
  • Coordinate Industry Trade Shows and Conferences: Represent the company at key events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel spreadsheets, and Salesforce- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Experience: Outside Sales experience
    Experience in the Architectural Product industry (preferred)
  • Driver’s License: Since outside sales involves travel, a valid driver’s license is required and reliable transportation.

Work Schedule:

This position allows a hybrid work schedule:

  • Traveling to meet customers
  • Work from home
  • Office-based work at our East Brunswick, NJ location

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
